Druids' Circle Sanctuary (3000-2000 BC)

The Druids' Circle lies on a mountain highway used for horse-drawn travel in the 18th century to avoid the treacherous headlands by the sea below. It is situated close to one of the most important axe factories of the neolithic period on the extinct volcano Graig Lwyd. Axes form this factory have been discovered all over Britain.
